Local volunteers provide comforting, home-cooked meals for staying families, giving them a supportive space to connect and recharge.
Our Meals From the Heart Program brings our community together to support families during some of their most challenging days. Local volunteers prepare and serve meals for families staying at the House, giving them one less thing to worry about while they focus on their child.
More than a meal, the program offers families a moment to gather, connect, and feel cared for during their time at Ronald McDonald House.
When a child is in the hospital, families have enough to worry about. After spending the day by their child’s bedside, preparing a meal is often the last thing on their minds. By preparing and serving a meal at Ronald McDonald House, you can give families one less thing to worry about and provide a warm, welcoming moment during a difficult time.
Our Meals From the Heart program welcomes volunteer groups of up to 10 participants to prepare and serve a meal for families staying at Ronald McDonald House. It’s a meaningful way to give back, connect with our families, and experience the sense of community that makes our House feel like home.
For questions or more information about serving a meal, please contact Juan, Volunteer Services & Meal Planning Coordinator, at juan@ronaldmcdonaldhousecentralvalley.org.
