The Red Shoe Society is a group of fun, motivated, young professionals with a collective goal of making a difference in the lives of families with seriously ill children who are hospitalized at Valley Children’s Hospital.

As stewards of the Central Valley Ronald McDonald House, Red Shoe Society members work together to raise money, volunteer their time, talents, and network with a slew of active community members. Red Shoes are not the only thing to make society members stand out. Red Shoe Society members are leaders. Being a Red Shoe Society member means you are the type of person who wants to lend your talents to help others.

Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved with the Red Shoe Society and help make a difference.

Fundraising
The Central Valley Ronald McDonald House relies on philanthropic gifts from the community to sustain the needs of the House. Red Shoe Society members plan fun and unique fundraisers such as a Corn Hole for a Cause and Rockin’ With Red Shoes concert. Members also develop and discuss new or upcoming fundraising programs.

Social Events
Join us at our social events are a great way to recruit new members, mix with new and old Red Shoe Society members, and enjoy fun activities with the Central Valley’s finest young professionals. Our events provide a relaxed and social atmosphere while staying connected to the mission of the charity.

Volunteer
The Central Valley Ronald McDonald House is always in need of volunteers. Red Shoe Society members can cook a meal or bake treats for our families through our Meals from the Hearts program, host game nights, create fun activities for the families or help out with a special event. Red Shoe Society members serve a meal once a quarter at RMHCCV. Red Shoe Society members can also donate $10-$15 to cover the cost of a meal for a family.

Leadership
There are a number of leadership opportunities within the Red Shoe Society. Leadership Team members can coordinate volunteers, chair one of the organization’s various social and fundraising events, or serve on one of the Red Shoe Society’s subcommittees. Participating in the Red Shoe Society prepares young professionals for a seat on a non-profit board.

Subcommittees
There are various subcommittees, as well as chair subcommittee positions, that you can be involved in as well. This helps you to take ownership of a particular area of The Red Shoe Society. Subcommittees include Meals from the Heart, Events, Membership, and Volunteers.
