Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley
Raises $165,000 at 7th Annual FORE! The House Golf Tournament Hosted By Cargill

October 15, 2018— FRESNO, Calif.— The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley’s 7th annual FORE! The House Golf Tournament raised $165,000 in support of its mission to provide a ‘home away from home’ and resources for families whose child is hospitalized at Valley Children’s Hospital. This is the 7th year that Cargill has hosted this major fundraising event in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley.

Cargill and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley reached a tremendous milestone this year. For the past 7 years of hosting the FORE! The House tournament in Fresno, Cargill’s support raised a cumulative $1,000,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley.

“Raising over $1 million for our local Ronald McDonald House in seven years is a satisfying accomplishment,” said Emily Murray, General Manager of McDonald’s Beef at Cargill. “Cargill is proud to reach this fantastic milestone in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We look forward to continuing to host the FORE! The House Golf Tournament for years to come.”

For nearly 10 years, Cargill has supported the Ronald McDonald House through fundraising and volunteerism.

“Cargill’s support is absolutely critical to the operation of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley,” said Dr. Kent Karsevar, Executive Director of RMHCCV. “Their dedication and generosity is so appreciated. We thank each and every team member at Cargill for their continued support and look forward to a continued partnership.”

The 8th annual FORE! The House Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 14, 2019 at Copper River Country Club.
