We can’t do it alone. On behalf of our families, thank you for your support!
While there are currently no cases of the community spread of COVID-19 at the Ronald McDonald House, we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guest families, staff, volunteers and donors. As health officials warn against large gatherings of people, our visitor/volunteer policy has changed effective immediately. The new policy allows only direct caregivers of the hospitalized party to have access to RMHC’s facilities. This includes restricting visitations to parents and guardians, prohibiting all other visitors and non-essential vendors.
Unfortunately, we must suspend the volunteer program at RMHC for the time being. We thank you for your patience and support during this time, and we will contact you as soon as we are made aware of any changes. We encourage you to follow us on social media for any updates and we look forward to resuming volunteer activities at a later date.
OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE THE HEART OF OUR HOUSE.
The Ronald McDonald House is supported by a strong foundation of volunteers. Their gifts of love and compassion make this House more than just a place to stay, they make it a home. Volunteers make the difference in the lives of all the families that come through our doors.
GIVE OUR FAMILIES A TASTE OF HOME
Having a child in the hospital can be challenging for any family. Cooking a meal for themselves is the last thing they want to think about after sitting by their child’s bedside all day. Coming home to a home-cooked meal is something our families greatly appreciate. When you’re serving a meal, you get to experience the togetherness of our House and the thankfulness of our families.
WISH LIST
As you can imagine, support from our local community is crucial in making a Ronald McDonald House feel like a “Home away from home”. To provide a loving, caring and supportive environment, Ronald McDonald House Charities heavily relies on the generous donations given by our local community.
