Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley Celebrates 37th Year in Operation
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley has been serving Central Valley families for 37 years and counting.

April 6, 2021—MADERA, Calif.—On April 6, 2021, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley (RMHCCV) reached its milestone 37th anniversary. Located in Madera, California next to Valley Children’s Healthcare, RMHCCV provides a ‘Home Away From Home’ and resources for families of children who are hospitalized. RMHCCV operates 18 guest bedrooms, a ‘Day Room’, ‘Spare Room’, and the Happy Wheels Hospitality Cart at no charge to families with the support of the community.

“We are so grateful to be able to provide families with refuge and resources while their child receives lifesaving medical treatment at Valley Children’s Healthcare,” said Kent Karsevar, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley. “We are proud and honored to be able to serve families, during these recent unprecedented times,” said Karsevar.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to host a celebratory gathering, like typical years. The Ronald McDonald House of the Central Valley invites the community to celebrate this huge milestone by donating $37 to RMHCCV! All gifts made in honor of RMHCCV’s anniversary, will go directly back to the families who are served at the Ronald McDonald House. Payments can be made on the RMHCCV website, rmhccv.org, Venmo, @rmhccv or a check can be sent to RMHCCV at 9161 Randall Way, Madera, CA 93636. If you are unable to give a financial gift at this time, we ask you to continue to spread awareness of RMHCCV or support one of our upcoming fundraisers.
